Interview with Marie Tillman for NPR affiliate KUAR on Clinton School Presents, a weekly dialogue of distinguished guests that visit the Clinton School of Public Service in Little Rock, Arkansas. Nikolai DiPippa, Clinton School Director of Public Programs, sat down with Marie Tillman, co-founder and president of the Pat Tillman Foundation, a national leader in providing resources and educational scholarship support to veterans, active service members and their spouses. Marie discusses her new book, “The Letter: My Journey Through Love, Loss and Life,” which describes her journey to remake her life following the loss of her husband Pat, a U.S. Army Ranger and former NFL star, in April 2004 when he was killed in action in Afghanistan.
